Preparation & Mixing Instructions:
- To prepare a standard dilution (21 kcal/fl oz), add 1 unpacked level scoop (5 g) of powder to each fluid ounce of water.
- Use only the scoop provided for accurate measurement.
- For precise preparation, the formula may be weighed on a gram scale.
- The formula may be mixed with warm or cool water that has been boiled.
- Do not boil the prepared formula and do not use a microwave to prepare or warm it.
To Make Formula:
- Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area.
- Pour the required amount of cooled, boiled water into a sterilized feeding bottle.
- Add the prescribed number of leveled scoops of formula to the bottle.
- Place the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves. Shake again immediately before feeding.
Important Information:
- Freshly prepared formula is recommended for feeding.
- If prepared in advance, the formula should be cooled quickly, stored in a refrigerator, and used within 24 hours.
- Any formula remaining in the bottle after one hour of feeding should be discarded.
- Powdered infant formula is not sterile.
- Must be used under medical supervision.
- Intended for oral or tube feeding only.
- Not for parenteral use.
- Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
