GA-1 Anamix Early Years Infant Formula is an unflavored powdered formula developed for infants and young children who require specialized dietary management of Glutaric Aciduria Type-1 (GA-1) or Pyridoxine-Dependent Epilepsy (PDE). The formula is lysine-free and low in tryptophan and contains a balanced blend of amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements to support nutritional intake as part of a medically supervised diet. It also includes prebiotic components and fatty acids such as DHA and ARA. This formula is designed for oral or tube feeding and should be used only under medical supervision.

Preparation & Mixing Instructions:

• To prepare a standard dilution (21 kcal/fl oz), add 1 unpacked level scoop (5 g) of powder to each fluid ounce of water.
• Use only the scoop provided for accurate measurement.
• For precise preparation, the formula may be weighed on a gram scale.
• The formula may be mixed with warm or cool water that has been boiled.
• Do not boil the prepared formula and do not use a microwave to prepare or warm it.

To Make Formula:

• Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area.
• Pour the required amount of cooled, boiled water into a sterilized feeding bottle.
• Add the prescribed number of leveled scoops of formula to the bottle.
• Place the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves. Shake again immediately before feeding.

Important Information:

• Freshly prepared formula is recommended for feeding.
• If prepared in advance, the formula should be cooled quickly, stored in a refrigerator, and used within 24 hours.
• Any formula remaining in the bottle after one hour of feeding should be discarded.
• Powdered infant formula is not sterile.
• Must be used under medical supervision.
• Intended for oral or tube feeding only.
• Not for parenteral use.
• Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition.
• Only suitable for infants and young children with confirmed Glutaric Aciduria (GA-1) or Pyridoxine-Dependent Epilepsy (PDE).
