How to Apply

1. Cleanse the wound with Gentell Dermal Wound Cleanser and gently dry the surrounding skin.
2. Select an appropriately sized Gentell Calcium Alginate Ag Dressing to fully cover the wound area.
3. Apply the dressing directly to the wound bed.
4. Cover with a suitable secondary dressing, such as Gentell Super Absorbent, or Gentell Bordered Foam Dressing.
5. Change dressing daily or as instructed by a physician.

Removal & Dressing Change

1. Replace the dressing once daily or when saturated with exudate.
2. Gently lift away from the wound gel formation ensures easy, painless removal without damaging new tissue.

Indications for Use:

Gentell Calcium Alginate Ag Silver Dressing is intended for use on a variety of wound types, including:

• Infected wounds
• Pressure ulcers/injuries (Stages 3 and 4)
• Leg ulcers and venous ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Surgical wounds
• Cavity, deep, or sloughy wounds
• Burns, abrasions, lacerations, and minor skin tears

Contraindications:

• Do not use on patients with known sensitivity to alginates or silver.
• Not intended for dry or lightly exuding wounds, as the dressing requires moisture to form a gel.
• Change dressing daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Discontinue use if redness, irritation, or allergic reaction occurs.

Storage & Handling:

• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Keep in original packaging until ready for use.
• Single-use only discard after use to prevent contamination.
