Oasis Wound Matrix Dressing

Oasis Wound Matrix Dressing is a three-dimensional extracellular matrix designed to promote healing and cell migration in wound management. Caregivers and patients can use the single-layer sheets of Oasis on properly cleaned wounds, as it is compatible with human skin. This product offers a wide range of uses and indications. Oasis Wound Matrix is composed of porcine small intestinal submucosa (SIS), a naturally derived extracellular matrix (ECM) scaffold. It contains ECM components similar to those found in human dermis. Oasis Wound Matrix is a single-layer product and can be stored at room temperature. It is ideal for supporting wound closure as part of standard care and is suitable for use with a variety of secondary dressings.

Features:

Indications: Are indicated for the management of wounds including:

• Partial and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, tunneled/undermined wounds, and diabetic ulcers.
• Traumatic wounds (abrasions, lacerations, second-degree burns, skin tears).
• Draining wounds.
• Surgical wounds (donor sites/grafts, post-Moh’s surgery, post-laser surgery, podiatric wounds, wound dehiscence).

Contraindications:

• Patients with known sensitivity to porcine material should not use this product.
• Not to be used for third-degree burns.

Directions to use:

1. Prepare the wound bed to ensure it is free of exudate and devitalized tissue.
2. Select the appropriate size and form of OASIS Matrix.
3. Apply, secure, and hydrate OASIS Matrix after placing it in a dry state over the wound.
4. Once OASIS is secured, cover with a non-adherent dressing and a secondary dressing. Maintaining a moist environment is important for successful integration.

Side Effects:

The following side effects may be possible when using this product:

• Infection
• Chronic Inflammation
• Allergic Reaction
• Excessive Redness
• Excessive Pain
• Excessive Blistering

The wound dressing should be removed if any of these conditions occur.
