Description
Oasis Wound Matrix Dressing is a three-dimensional extracellular matrix designed to promote healing and cell migration in wound management. Caregivers and patients can use the single-layer sheets of Oasis on properly cleaned wounds, as it is compatible with human skin. This product offers a wide range of uses and indications. Oasis Wound Matrix is composed of porcine small intestinal submucosa (SIS), a naturally derived extracellular matrix (ECM) scaffold. It contains ECM components similar to those found in human dermis. Oasis Wound Matrix is a single-layer product and can be stored at room temperature. It is ideal for supporting wound closure as part of standard care and is suitable for use with a variety of secondary dressings.
Features:
- Size: 1.2 x 1.4 inches (3 x 3.5 centimeters), 10.5 cm2 fenestrated.
- Designed to be incorporated into and absorbed by the wound.
- Room temperature, on-the-shelf storage.
- Retains multiple components found in human dermis.
- Associated with greater angiogenesis compared to ORC/collagen.
- Naturally derived structure that supports the healing process.
- SIS technology helps replace and repair damaged tissues.
- Long 2-year shelf life for availability in nonhealing wound care.
Indications: Are indicated for the management of wounds including:
- Partial and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, tunneled/undermined wounds, and diabetic ulcers.
