Hydrofera Blue READY-Border Antibacterial Foam Dressings that maintain a moist wound environment without the need for hydration. These sterile dressings provide secure wound protection and atraumatic dressing removal because of their silicone adhesive borders. The wear time is up to 7 days, depending on the clinical conditions of the wound, while still effectively managing exudate. The dressing’s combination of methylene blue and gentian violet offers broad-spectrum antibacterial protection, which kills bacteria within the dressing. Hydrofera Blue READY-Border dressings are made from polyurethane (PU) foam and are sterile, safe, and non-cytotoxic.

How to Apply

1. Remove the dressing from its sterile package.
2. Peel off one side of the release liner to expose the adhesive border.
3. Center the foam pad directly over the wound bed (blue side facing down, white side up).
4. Smooth the adhesive border onto the surrounding skin as you remove the remaining liner.
5. Press gently around the edges to ensure good adhesion and a secure seal.

Removal

1. Gently lift the adhesive border from the skin, starting at a corner.
2. Carefully peel back the dressing while supporting the skin.
3. Cleanse the wound as per protocol before reapplying a new dressing.

Warnings and Precautions

• Hydrofera Blue READY dressings are not indicated for third-degree burns.
• The dressing should not be used on individuals who are sensitive to or who have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or one of its components.
• Product wound contact time is limited to 30 days.
• This product has not been tested or evaluated on the pediatric and neonatal population.
