Directions for Preparation and Use: Use Only As Directed by a Physician

Depending on the specific needs of each individual, preparation will vary as prescribed by a physician.

• Wash your hands, surfaces, and utensils.
• Pour the prescribed amount of water into a clean container.
• Add the prescribed amount of I-Valex®-2 powder (and other ingredients if recommended).
• Shake well for 10-15 seconds; if using a blender, mix no more than 5 seconds.
• Pour mixture into a clean feeding cup or container; cap.
• Serve chilled. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.

Helpful Hints

• Add sweetened drink crystals to enhance flavor.
• Add chocolate or strawberry syrup.
• Mix I-Valex-2 with fruit to make a smoothie
• Freeze the flavored mixture into slushies.

For the most accurate results, I-Valex-2 should be weighed on a scale that reads in grams.

Storage Instructions:

• Once mixed, store the container in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours
• Store unopened or opened can at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures.
• Use opened can contents within 1 month.
