Kendall Curity Abdominal Pad, with Wet Proof Barrier, 8" x 10" consists of a soft outer nonwoven layer and fluff filler to absorb and disperse fluid. It features a three-layer construction with a soft top layer that wicks fluid away from the wound, and a fluff filler that absorbs and disperses fluid throughout the entire pad. All four edges of the pad are sealed to prevent lint residue and leaking, helping to prevent particulate matter from escaping and decreasing the possibility of wound contamination. The pad also has a wet-proof barrier backing that retards fluid strike-through, and a moisture-proof backing that protects both the patient and healthcare worker from fluid strike-through. It is in a rectangle shape and is non-sterile.
