Silicone, elastomer coating provides a barrier between the latex catheter shaft and the patientâ€s urethra increasing biocompatibility. Large eye holes and drainage lumen facilitate urine flow. Thick funnel helps prevent collapse when irrigating. Reinforced tip protects catheter from stylet puncture.
