McKesson Anti-Embolism Knee-High Stockings are designed to support venous blood flow in patients who are at risk of developing blood clots due to limited mobility, extended bed rest, or post-surgical recovery. These stockings deliver a graduated compression level of 20-30 mmHg, with the greatest pressure at the ankle that gradually decreases up the leg to help enhance circulation and reduce venous stasis. They are comfortable and effective, keeping the legs cool while making application and removal easy. They are made of a sturdy yet breathable blend of nylon and spandex.

Indications:
- To help prevent formation of deep vein thrombosis
- To promote increased blood flow velocity in the legs by compression of the deep venous system
Contraindications:
- Any local leg condition in which stockings would interfere, such as dematitis, immediate post-operative vein ligation, gangrene or recent skin graf
- Severe arteriosclerosis or other ischemic vascular disease
- Massive edema (swelling) of legs or pulmonary edema from congestive heart failure
- Extreme deformity of leg
