McKesson Anti-embolism Thigh-High Stockings help improve blood circulation in the legs by applying graduated compression of 20-30 mmHg from the ankle upward. They are designed for patients who require extended support during periods of limited mobility, especially in hospital or post-surgical settings. Made from a soft nylon and spandex blend, these stockings offer comfort, breathability, and easy application.

Indications:

• To help prevent formation of deep vein thrombosis
• To promote increased blood flow velocity in the legs by compression of the deep venous system

Contraindications:

• Any local leg condition in which stockings would interfere,such as dematitis, immediate post-operative vein ligation, gangrene or recent skin graf
• Severe arteriosclerosis or other ischemic vascular disease
• Massive edema (swelling) of legs or pulmonary edema from congestive heart failure
• Extreme deformity of leg
