Medline Dressing Change Tray with CHG and ChloraPrep contains all the components needed to perform a central line dressing change in a convenient sterile soft pack. The procedure tray is packaged in sequence of use to reduce overhead costs and waste while improving patient care. A central line refers to an IV line such as a catheter or PICC line. Gauze dressing covers and protects the catheter to lower the risk of infection since it has a direct connection to the bloodstream. The gauze dressing is changed every 48 hours to minimize the risk of infection.
