Medline Foaming Aerosol Quat-Based Disinfectant, 17 oz. is germicidal, meaning it eliminates Salmonella schottmuelleri, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Campylobacter jejuni, and Staphylococcus aureus. The viruses include respiratory syncytial virus, herpes simplex type 1 and type 2, herpes simplex type 2, influenza B (Hong Kong), influenza A (A2 Japan), and ATCC VR-100. An athlete's foot fungus is called Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Shower stalls, plastic and ceramic tile, chrome, stainless steel, plastic countertops, painted walls and woodwork, vinyl, and leather are just a few examples of the hard, nonporous, washable surfaces that can be cleaned and scented. Not harsh, no rinsing, and no scrubbing. When used in compliance with the instructions for use against Rhinovirus type 39 on firm, nonporous surfaces, this product has shown effective against viruses comparable to the monkeypox virus and can therefore be used against the monkeypox virus.
