Puracol Plus AG+ Collagen Dressing

Medline Puracol Plus AG Collagen Dressing helps restore a balanced healing environment and supports stalled wounds. Its unique three-dimensional structure promotes cellular growth, while the native collagen ensures the dressing remains effective in the wound bed for longer periods. The collagen maintains its natural triple helix structure, providing sustained collagen support to the wound. Each dressing contains pure collagen and hydrated silver chloride at a concentration of 1.2%, which helps protect the dressing from bacterial contamination. It may be used when visible signs of infection are present in the wound.

Indications:

• Pressure, venous, diabetic ulcers.
• Partial and full-thickness wounds.
• Ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies.
• First- and second-degree burns.
• Donor sites, and other surface wounds.
• Dehisced surgical wounds.
• Abrasions, traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention.

Contraindications:

• Not intended for use on third-degree burns.
• Active vasculitis or patients with known sensitivity to collagen or silver.

Direction to Use:

1. Remove Puracol Plus Ag from the package.
2. The dressing should come in contact with the wound. If necessary the dressing may be moistened with sterile saline.
3. Cover with a secondary dressing.

Note:

• Dressing may be cut if necessary.
• Do not resterilize.
• Single use only.
