Medline Remedy Specialized Protect Extra Thick Zinc Oxide Paste is a petrolatum-based formula designed to protect and soothe red, sore, or irritated skin caused by urine burns, diaper rash, feces, and other irritants. With 15% zinc oxide, this thick, protective paste seals out moisture while emollients moisturize and nourish tender skin.

Active ingredients:

• White petrolatum 49% w/w
• Zinc oxide 15% w/w

Inactive ingredients:

Carboxymethylcellulose sodium, cetyl dimethicone copolyol, glicerin, hexyl laurate, phenoxyethanol, polyglycery-4 isostearate, stearic acid, water

Uses:

• Temporarily protects minor cuts, scrapes and burns
• Temporarily protects and helps relieve chapped or cracked skin

Directions:

For skin protection:

• Apply as needed.

For diaper rash:

• Change wet and soiled diapers promptly, cleanse the diaper area, and allow to dry.
• Apply liberally, as often as necessary, with each diaper change, especially at bedtime or any time when exposure to wet diapers may be prolonged.

Warnings:

• For external use only
• Do not get into the eyes
• Keep out of reach of children
• Store at 15°C - 30C (59-F-86'F)
• If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Do not use on:

• Animal bites
• Serious burns
• Deep or puncture wounds

Stop use and ask a doctor if:

• Condition worsens
• Symptoms last for more than 7 days or clear up and occur again within a few days
