Mepitel Transparent Soft Silicone Wound Contact Layer Dressing is a sterile, non-adherent, transparent polyamide net that is intended to reduce wound damage and suffering for patients while changing dressings. The unique transparency enables for instant wound inspection without removing the contact layer. It can stay in place for up to 14 days, reducing discomfort and preventing unwanted disruptions to the healing process. The dressing is extremely conformable, resulting in an excellent fit and increased patient comfort, and its open mesh design allows for good exudate transfer to a secondary dressing as well as topical therapy delivery to the wound bed. It is easy to use even with gloves and adheres gently, quickly and securely, saving time and reducing patient discomfort.
