MSUD Anamix Early Years Infant Formula 14.1 oz Unflavored Powder is a specialized amino acid-based formula with iron developed for the dietary management of Maple Syrup Urine Disease (MSUD) in infants and young children. The formula is free from valine, leucine, and isoleucine and is designed to provide controlled nutritional support for individuals diagnosed with MSUD. It contains a balanced nutritional composition including amino acids, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements.This formula is intended for use only under medical supervision and may be administered orally or through tube feeding as directed by a healthcare professional. It is not suitable as a sole source of nutrition and not for parenteral use. Powdered infant formula is not sterile; freshly prepared formula is recommended. Prepared formula that is not used immediately should be cooled quickly, refrigerated, and used within 24 hours. Any formula remaining in the bottle after one hour of feeding should be discarded. Unopened containers should be stored in a cool, dry place, and once opened the contents should be used within two weeks, keeping the lid tightly closed after each use.

Preparation:

• Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area.
• Pour the required amount of cooled, boiled water into a sterilized feeding bottle.
• Add the prescribed number of level scoops of formula to the water.
• Place the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder fully dissolves.
• Shake again immediately before feeding.

Mixing Instructions:

• To prepare a standard dilution (21 kcal/fl oz), add 1 unpacked level scoop (5 g) of powder to each fluid ounce of water.
• Use only the scoop provided with the product.
• For accuracy, the formula may be weighed using a gram scale.
• The formula may be mixed with warm or cool water that has been boiled.
• Do not boil the prepared formula or use a microwave to heat it.
