Navina Smart System

Navina Smart has software-controlled pumps that inflate a balloon and instill water into the bowel. Pushing the buttons allows for total control over the procedure. It is easy to learn and practical to use. Navina Smart has built-in safety for maximum balloon size, water volume and water flow rate. It also allows you to easily follow the irrigation steps during the procedure.

Navina Smart app: Navina Smart comes with an app that allows you to track and record your settings and progress, so that you can optimize your routine. All data from your latest irrigation, such as balloon size, amount of water, waterflow rate and duration time, can be transmitted to the Navina Smart app via Bluetooth. Navina Smart app gives you the possibility to rate and share your data with your health care professional for evaluating your treatment.

Intended use: The Navina Irrigation System is intended for Transanal Irrigation by instilling water up into the lower part of the colon through a rectal catheter.

Indications: The Navina Irrigation System is indicated to help adults and children from 2 years who suffer from fecal incontinence, chronic constipation, and/or time consuming bowel management. By instilling water up into the lower part of the colon, the peristaltic muscles in the bowel can be triggered and start to evacuate the content of the lower colon and rectum.

Catheters & Cone

• Navina balloon catheters are available in two sizes. Regular for adults only and Small from 12 years of age.
• Balloon catheters with flexible and proven balloon seals the rectum and ensures the catheter stays in place.
• Cone shaped catheter for easy insertion and minimized leakage. From 2 years of age.
• All rectal catheters are made of soft and flexible material with slippery hydrophilic surface for easy insertion and withdrawal.

Water Container

• Sturdy and stable 1.5 liter container, yet collapsible for minimal space when not used.
• Two scales make it easy both to fill up desired volume and to follow the instilled amount of water.
• Lid designed to be easy open and close even with reduced hand function.
• Practical strap for lifting and hanging of the water container.
• Integrated lid (no assembly needed).

Tube-set

• Color coded connectors to facilitate assembly.
• Flexible yet sturdy water and air tubes.
• Easy to clean.

Accessories

• Grip rings for attachment to the tube if increased grip is needed when inserting the catheter.
• Lanyard for convenient suspension of the control units around the neck.
• Positioning strap/clip making it possible to attach the control units on a leg or arm.
• Practical Navina case for storage and travel.

Contraindications: Do NOT use Navina Irrigation System if you have one or more of the following:

• Known anal or colorectal stenosis
• Active inflammatory bowel disease
• Acute diverticulitis
• Colorectal cancer
• Ischemic colitis
• During spinal cord shock phase
• Complex diverticular disease
• You are within three months of anal or colorectal surgery
• You are within 4 weeks of previous endoscopic polypectomyr
• Pregnant women

Shelf life: All Navina Irrigation System components have a shelf life of 3.5 years, except the Navina Catheters and the Navina Cone, which have 2 years. When Navina components are packed in sets, the component with shortest shelf life determine the shelf life of the set.

• The products must be new, unused condition, not tampered with, in original packaging and returned at the customers expense in the original packaging.
• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
