Directions for Preparation and Use:
The amount of Neocate to take should be determined by a healthcare professional and is dependent on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. Neocate Junior provides complete or supplemental nutritional support for children over 1 year of age. Use under medical supervision. For oral and tube feeding only; not for parenteral use.
For oral or tube feeding:
- Wash hands thoroughly and clean the preparation area.
- Pour the required amount of water into container.
- Add 1 unpacked, level scoop of powder to each 1 fl oz of water.
- Stir, or cover and shake, until the powder has dissolved. Feed OR refrigerate immediately and use within 24 hours. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
Storage: Store unopened or opened can in a cool, dry place. Once opened, replace can lid and use within 1 month. Do not store at extreme temperatures.
