Indications for Use: The NEOMED Enteral Extension Set is indicated for neonatal and pediatric patients as an extension set for nasogastric, orogastric, or gastric enteral feeding tubes. It incorporates safety connectors designed to help mitigate the risk of accidental connection between I.V. systems and enteral systems. The Enteral Only Extension Set is sterile and intended for single-patient use only.

Contraindications: The NEOMED Extension Set is designed to connect exclusively with ENFit compatible connectors, including ENFit enteral feeding tubes and ENFit enteral syringes. It is not intended for individual use longer than 24 hours. Replace and maintain the extension set according to hospital protocol and applicable Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) guidelines.

Instructions: Follow facility protocol or current AND guidelines, as applicable, for proper use of this device.

• Follow physician instructions prior to use.
• Perform hand hygiene per facility protocol.
• Remove the extension set from packaging using aseptic technique.
• Confirm compatibility with the feeding tube before connection.
• Remove and discard distal cap according to facility policy.
• Attach the Enteral Only inlet connector to the administration set outlet and connect the extension set outlet to the enteral feeding tube.
• Ensure roller clamp is closed and plug female hubs when not in use.
• Replace and maintain the administration set per facility policy and do not exceed NANN or AND recommended duration beyond 4 hours, as applicable.
• Do not reuse. Dispose of the extension set per institutional and regulatory requirements after use.

Notice: This device is not intended for standalone use and must be used only with ENFit® Feeding Tubes. Review this guide and the Feeding Tube IFU prior to use. Refer to the feeding tube IFU for additional warnings and precautions.

• The products must be new, unused condition, not tampered with, in original packaging and returned at the customers expense in the original packaging.
• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
• Hygiene, bath and toilet items cannot be returned once opened or used.
