NeoConnect ENFit Extension Set with Slide Tubing Clamp

NeoMed ENFit Enteral Extension Set is designed for neonatal and pediatric patients requiring nasogastric, orogastric, or gastric tube enteral feeding. Engineered with ENFit safety connectors, this extension set supports secure enteral connections while helping reduce the risk of accidental I.V. misconnections. Standard bore options feature priming volumes of less than 2.0 mL to support efficient nutrition delivery. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) recommends extension set changes every 4 hours, or in accordance with institutional protocol.

Indications for Use: Indicated for neonatal and pediatric patients as an extension set for nasogastric, orogastric, or gastric tube enteral feeding systems. Incorporates safety connectors designed to help mitigate the risk of accidental connection between I.V. and enteral systems. This sterile device is intended for single-patient use only.

Contraindications: Intended for connection only with ENFit-compatible enteral feeding tubes and ENFit enteral syringes. Not intended for individual use longer than 24 hours. Replace and maintain according to hospital protocol, institutional policy, or Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) guidelines, as applicable.

Follow hospital protocol or current ADA guidelines as applicable for the use of this device.

Recommended Instructions

• Always follow the physician’s instructions for use of the contents.
• Wash hands per facility protocol.
• Remove the extension set from the packaging.
• Verify feeding tube compatibility before use.
• Remove and dispose of the distal cap according to facility protocol.
• Attach the Enteral Only Connector (inlet) to the outlet of the administration set. Attach the extension set outlet to the enteral only feeding tube.
• Close the slide clamp and plug all female hubs until ready to use or when not in use.
• Replace and maintain the administration set in accordance with facility protocol and not to exceed NANN (National Association of Neonatal Nurses) or AND guidelines of beyond 4 hours, as applicable.
• Do not re-use extension sets. After use, dispose of the device per facility protocols and/or local or national regulations.

• The product warranty is applicable as per the terms and conditions provided by the product manufacturer.

• All returns must have an RGA number (Returned Goods Authorization), unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

• The products must be new, unused condition, not tampered with, in original packaging and returned at the customers expense in the original packaging.
• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
• Hygiene, bath and toilet items cannot be returned once opened or used.
