NeoMed Extension Sets, Non-Enfit

The NEOMED Enteral Only Extension Set is indicated for use in neonatal and pediatric patients in connection with nasogastric/orogastric enteral feeding tubes to provide nutrition via nasal or oral gastric placements.

Features

• Sterile.
• USP Class VI PVC tubing is not made with DEHP or BPA.
• Enteral only connectors prevent misconnections with luer fittings.
• Unique tethered plug closure on the female inlet connector provides better protection from ambient air.
• New design of the male adapter improves the strength of connection to enteral only feeding tubes mitigating "overstretching" of the feeding tube hubs.

Contraindications: This device is not intended for I.V. use.

Instructions

• Always follow physician’s instructions for use of contents.
• Wash hands thoroughly and use aseptic technique throughout process.
• Remove extension set from packaging.
• Verify feeding tube compatibility prior to use.
• Attach Enteral Only Connector (inlet) to outlet of administration set. Attach extension set outlet to enteral only feeding tube.
• Close slide clamp and plug all female hubs until ready to use or when not in use.
• Replace and maintain administration set in accordance to hospital protocol and not to exceed NANN (National Association of Neonatal Nurses) or AND (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) guidelines of beyond 4 hours, as applicable.
• Do not re-use extension sets. After use, dispose of device per hospital protocols and/or local or national regulations.

Cautions

• Do not wash and reuse extension set. It is intended for one time use only. Re-use of this device may increase risk of leakage or biological infection.

• The product warranty is applicable as per the terms and conditions provided by the product manufacturer.

• All returns must have an RGA number (Returned Goods Authorization), unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
• We do not guarantee fulfillment of any desired purpose or product suitability to the user and this will not be considered as a valid reason for return.
• The products must be new, unused condition, not tampered with, in original packaging and returned at the customers expense in the original packaging.
• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
• Hygiene, bath and toilet items cannot be returned once opened or used.
