Nu Hope Square Barrier 54 Wafer extended wear barrier is a thicker version of the "46 series", which can be used for any type of ostomy. It works very well in deep skin folds or depressions and has slower melt down properties for longer lasting wear time. It is excellent for high output fecal stomas and difficult urostomies, the barrier performs better on intact skin. When the barrier sweels it might cover flush stomas, but should not obstruct the output from flowing. Includes polyurethane on one side to enhance wear time.
