Optifoam Gentle Sacral Silicone Bordered Foam Dressing is a premium foam dressing that helps to create an optimal healing environment. It promotes faster healing for both partial and full-thickness wounds, while the silicone border ensures gentle removal and the waterproof backing protects the wound.
Features:
- Not made with natural rubber latex.
- Waterproof backing.
- Silicone border aids in gentle removal.
- Superabsorbent foam core helps absorb and retain fluids while helping to prevent shear and friction on the sacrum.
- Foam dressing with highly conformable silicone border provides gentle adhesion and can be lifted and reapplied.
Contraindication: Not suitable for third-degree burns.
How to Apply:
- Position patient on their side. Remove center release liner. Fold dressing in half, anchor dressing in gluteal fold.
- Remove release liner from upper side of dressing and smooth upward away from the bed and repeat on other side.
- Gently secure the dressing to the skin.
Change Frequency: Dressing should be changed when drainage is visible around the margins of the foam pad. It can be left in place for up to seven days, depending on the amount of drainage.
Note: Single use only.

- If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
