PhaSeal Protector 50 Closed System Transfer Device

BD PhaSeal Protector from Becton Dickinson is used for drug preparation from powder or liquid substances in oncology and remains permanently connected to the drug bottle. The bottle adapter creates and maintains neutral pressure when air or liquid is injected into or withdrawn from the bottle. The adapters are available in various versions, individually sterile-packed and are designed for hygienic single use.

Features

• Fits to drug vials with necksize of 20 mm.
• When attached to a vial Protector 50 has an equalizing capacity of 50 mL of air.
• It effectively ensures there is neither overpressure nor vacuum when air or fluid is injected into or aspirated from the vial.
• A Protector provides closed pressure equalization through the sealed expansion chamber and dry connections via the double membrane technique.
• The Protector is a pressure equalization device, permanently attached to the vial and used in the preparation of drugs from either powder or liquid form.
