PhenylAde GMP Mix-In is an low-phenylalanine, powdered formula containing glycomacropeptide (GMP) for the dietary management of phenylketonuria (PKU) for children, teens and adults.

Ingredients: Glycomacropeptide (Milk), L-Tyrosine, Glycine, L-Leucine, L-Histidine, L-Arginine, Corn Syrup Solids, L-Cystine. Contains 2% or Less Of The Following: L-Tryptophan, Silicon Dioxide, Taurine, L-Carnitine.

CONTAINS: MILK.

Contains 18 mg of phenylalanine per 10 g protein equivalent

Directions for Use:

• Simply add 12.5 g powder (1 pouch or 1 Tablespoon, level and unpacked) to 6 fl oz (180 mL) of water, flavored (protein-free) beverage, food low in protein or other PKU formula. Dilution may be adjusted to taste. For greater accuracy use a gram scale.
• Cover with a tight-fitting lid for drinks and shake until fully blended. Stir in gently until fully blended for foods low in protein.
• Best served immediately.

Do not heat, bake or add to food or beverages above 130 degree F.

Storage: Store unopened cans or pouches in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Avoid extreme temperatures. Once a pouch is opened, entire contents should be used immediately. Once a can is opened, reseal with lid provided and use within one month.

Important Notice: Must be used under medical supervision. For oral and tube feeding. Not for parenteral use. Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition. Only suitable for individuals over 1 year of age with proven phenylketonuria (PKU). Not suitable for individuals with a milk allergy. Must be combined with an appropriate vitamin & mineral supplement when taken as the sole source of PKU medical food.
