To expand a bath bench's width (reach) into a shower or bathtub, buy horizontal rail extensions. You will get 28-inch rails if you buy the 4-inch version. You will get 32-inch rails if you buy the 8-inch version. The 24 inch rails will be used in their place. and Vertical Extended Legs will add up to 3 inches to the transfer bench's height.
