Puracol Collagen Wound Dressing, Sterile

Puracol Plus Collagen Dressing restores balance to chronic or stopped wounds, accelerating the healing process. Its distinct three-dimensional shape promotes cellular growth, but native collagen retains its natural triple-helix structure, allowing the dressing to provide collagen to the wound for an extended duration. Maintaining a wet wound-healing environment to encourage tissue regeneration and cellular activity. The dressing can be cut to size as needed.

Indications:

• Pressure, venous, diabetic ulcers
• Partial and full-thickness wounds
• Ulcers caused by mixed vascular etiologies
• Partial and full thickness burns
• Donor sites and other surface wounds
• Abrasions, traumatic wounds healing by secondary intention
• Dehisced surgical wounds

Contraindication:

• Active vasculitis or patients with known sensitivity to collagen
• Not indicated for third-degree burns

Direction to use:

1. Remove Puracol Plus from the packaging.
2. The dressing should be in contact with the wound. If necessary, the dressing can be moistened with sterile saline.
3. Cover with a secondary dressing.

Storage: Protect from freezing and avoid excessive heat. Store at a controlled room temperature (20°C-25°C / 68°F-77°F), with transient spikes to 40°C / 104°F.
