RCF Carbohydrate-Free Soy Infant Formula Base with Iron

RCF is a specialized medical nutritional formula created to support infants who require a carefully managed carbohydrate intake as part of a physician-directed nutrition plan. Designed for use under medical supervision, this formula provides a controlled nutrient profile suitable for infants with unique metabolic or dietary needs.

• Contains soy protein isolate, suitable for infants with sensitivity to cow’s milk proteins.
• Includes L-carnitine (3 mg/100 mL) and taurine (12 mg/100 mL) to support essential nutrient intake.
• Provides 1.8 mg of iron (as ferrous sulfate) per 100 Cal when carbohydrate is added to prepare a 20 Cal/fl oz feeding.
• Developed to enable caregivers and physicians to adjust carbohydrate type and amount while maintaining complete nutrient balance.

Ingredients: Water (88%), Soy Protein Isolate (5%), High Oleic Safflower Oil (3%), Soy Oil (2%), Coconut Oil (2%). Less than 1% of: Calcium Phosphate, Potassium Citrate, Potassium Chloride, Magnesium Chloride, Monoglycerides, Soy Lecithin, Carrageenan, Salt, L-Methionine, Ascorbic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Choline Chloride, Taurine, M-Inositol, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, L-Carnitine, Niacinamide, d-Alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate, Calcium Pantothenate, Cupric Sulfate, Thiamine Chloride Hydrochloride, Vitamin A Palmitate, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid, Potassium Iodide, Phylloquinone, Biotin, Beta-Carotene, Sodium Selenate, Vitamin D3, and Cyanocobalamin. Preparation

Concentrated Liquid

Follow these directions carefully to ensure proper preparation and safe handling. Consult your baby's physician if you have questions about sterilization or water use.

For 20 Cal/fl oz Formula:

Use the type and amount of carbohydrate specified by your physician.

• Dissolve carbohydrate in 12 fl oz of water, cover, and bring to a boil. Keep covered and allow to cool.
• Rinse the can lid and shake very well. Open with a clean punch-type opener.
• Add RCF to the cooled carbohydrate solution prepared in step 1. Mix and pour into bottles or feeding cups.
• Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.

For 54 g of carbohydrate, add one of the following:

Storage & Handling

• Cover opened, refrigerate, and use within 48 hours.
• Store prepared formula in the refrigerator and use within 48 hours.
• Store unopened product at room temperature; avoid extreme temperatures.

Precautions

• Follow the physician's instructions regarding carbohydrate addition.
• Never use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula; serious burns can occur.

• The product warranty is applicable as per the terms and conditions provided by the product manufacturer.

• The products must be new, unused condition, not tampered with, in original packaging and returned at the customers expense in the original packaging.
• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund.
• Hygiene, bath and toilet items cannot be returned once opened or used.
