Preparation
Concentrated Liquid
Follow these directions carefully to ensure proper preparation and safe handling. Consult your baby's physician if you have questions about sterilization or water use.
For 20 Cal/fl oz Formula:
Use the type and amount of carbohydrate specified by your physician.
- Dissolve carbohydrate in 12 fl oz of water, cover, and bring to a boil. Keep covered and allow to cool.
- Rinse the can lid and shake very well. Open with a clean punch-type opener.
- Add RCF to the cooled carbohydrate solution prepared in step 1. Mix and pour into bottles or feeding cups.
- Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
For 54 g of carbohydrate, add one of the following:

Storage & Handling
- Cover opened, refrigerate, and use within 48 hours.

- Never use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula; serious burns can occur.
