ReadyWrap Lower Extremity Thigh Garment offers strong adjustable compression for every phase of lymphedema treatment. The 50% overlapping straps and low-stretch material make the garment similar to traditional multi-step elastic bandaging, but it's much faster and simpler to put on. The wrap can also be used for venous leg ulcers. Each wrap includes a liner to be worn under the ReadyWrap Thigh, its top two narrow straps can be adjusted to accommodate the presentation of your thigh. The thigh wrap overlaps the knee wrap when used together to prevent gaps. Combine your ReadyWrap Thigh with the knee, calf, and foot garments for complete lower extremity compression. Intended uses:

• To maintain reduced fluid volume and shape of limbs.
• Management of lymphedema, lipedema and edema.
• Relief of leg fatigue and heaviness.
• Assist in management of some symptoms of venous ulcers.
• Assists in helping limit venous ulcer recurrence.
• Compression garments for phlebological, lymphological indications (i.e., venous disease, chronic edema and lymphedema).

Contraindications:

• Acute DVT.
• Severe cognitive impairment.
• Untreated cancer.
• Arterial insufficiency or ABPI < 0.8.
• Moderate to severe peripheral arterial disease.
• Untreated congestive heart failure.
• Untreated infection (i.e. cellulitis)Known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the product components.

Precautions:

• ABPI > 1.3
• Absent or impaired sensation (peripheral neuropathy)
• Any open wounds should be dressed prior to application
• Cardiac overload is suspected
• Patients have diabetes
• Patients have advanced small vessel disease
• Arterial disease is present
• Renal failure is present
• Rheumatoid arthritis is present

Material content:

• Nylon (polyamide)

Donning instructions:

1. Slide the ReadyWrap Liner onto your leg.
2. Unfasten all garment straps.
3. Align the spine on the back of the thigh with the hook side facing your thigh.
4. Hold the shortest set of straps in opposing hands just above the knee and place the strap without hook ( A ) on the front of your thigh about 5 cm above your knee. While holding that strap down, pull the opposing strap with the white hook ( B ) at full stretch and fasten it directly on top of the strap below.
5. Fasten the next set of straps by applying the strap with the short horizontal light blue hook ( C ) at full stretch onto the straps below. Next, pull the opposing strap with the long vertical light blue hook ( D ) at full stretch and fasten it directly on top of the strap below.
6. Fasten the remaining straps in sequence using the same process until all straps are in place. Fasten the final narrow straps in either order based on thigh shape and preference
• For "Straight-Shape" thighs, fasten them on top using same process as above.
• For "V-Shape" thighs, fasten them in a "V" or "cross" design.
• Regular length thigh garments have 5 strap sets. Long length thigh garments have 6 strap sets.
