Replicare Hydrocolloid Wound Dressing

Replicare Hydrocolloid Wound Dressing is a versatile, self-adhering hydrocolloid dressing designed to manage exuding wounds while promoting a moist environment that supports natural wound healing. It combines a dense absorbent hydrocolloid matrix with a breathable film exterior to help protect the wound from external contaminants and allow moisture vapor to escape. The polyurethane film allows excess moisture to transpire through it, thus enhancing the ability of the dressing to manage exudate absorption. A moist wound environment is known to promote granulation tissue and epithelialization in wounds.

Indications: For the management of partial to full-thickness wounds such as:

• Ulcers (venous, arterial, diabetic, pressure).
• donor sites.
• Surgical incisions.
• Surgical excisions.
• First and second-degree burns.

Contraindications: Not indicated for management of third-degree burns.
