Round-front toilet - The standard mounting bar enables the Rifton HTS seat and back to be securely attached to any round-front toilet, making the HTS easy to use in multiple locations and enabling shared use of a toilet with family members or classmates. Purchase one mounting bar for each toilet you wish to use for the HTS, as the mounting bar remains permanently and unobtrusively in place between toilet bowl and seat at the back of the toilet. (The mounting bar does not impede opening and closing of the toilet seat and lid.) The Rifton HTS seat and back quickly hook onto the mounting bar whenever adaptive toileting support is required. Round-front toilets will measure 17" or less from the centerline of the seat bolts to the front edge of the porcelain bowl.

Elongated toilet - This mounting bar enables the Rifton HTS seat and back to be securely attached to specialized elongated toilets typically installed in restrooms equipped for people with disabilities. A mounting bar makes the HTS easy to use in multiple locations and enabling shared use of a toilet with family members or classmates. Purchase one mounting bar for each toilet you wish to use the HTS on, as the mounting bar remains permanently and unobtrusively in place behind the seat and lid of the toilet. A mounting bar makes the HTS easy to use in multiple locations and enables the shared use of a toilet with family members or classmates. Purchase one mounting bar for each toilet you wish to use the HTS on; it remains permanently and unobtrusively in place behind the seat and lid of the toilet. The Rifton HTS seat and back quickly hook onto the mounting bar whenever adaptive toileting support is required. The Large HTS is optimal with an elongated Toilet. Elongated toilets measure more than 17" from the center line of the seat bolts to the front edge of the porcelain bowl. If you use a round front toilet with the large HTS, you will need to use the Z197 Large bowl adapter to close the gap.
