The aircraft aluminum 6061 used to make the ramp is resistant to rust and corrosion. Rolling up and storing portable HD ramps in a small space is possible. The ramp only weights 8 lbs/ft of ramp, while being 40% thicker; conventional 8' x 36" HD ramp weighs roughly 70 lbs.
