Rusch Gold Silicone Coated Foley Catheter, is manufactured by Teleflex Medical, is an indwelling catheter designed for convenience and comfort. The silicone coating helps the catheter to be quickly inserted with minimal irritation. The catheter is sturdy and sterile for effective and safe use, even after a prolonged period. The catheter itself is a latex catheter but it is coated internally and externally in 100% silicone to resist encrustation and bacterial colonization. Every patient is different, so there any many options for a correct and optimal fit. There are 3 balloon sizes available, 3cc, 5cc and 30cc. There are also many different lengths. Each are designed to provide maximum comfort

Precautions

• Do not use needle
• Do not exceed recommended capacities
• Visually inspect the product for any imperfections or surface deterioration prior to use
• Do not use ointments or lubricants having a petrolatum base. They will damage the catheter.
• Inflate the balloon with sterile water to the volume stated on the inflation lumen of the catheter by using a water-filled Luer tip syringe
