Rüsch® MMG H2O® Hydrophilic Intermittent Catheter Closed System – Non-Kit is designed to support comfortable, hygienic intermittent catheterization while helping reduce the risk of urethral trauma. Clinical studies indicate that hydrophilic-coated catheters can minimize urethral microtrauma, and the MMG H2O® system is engineered with this goal in mind. The catheter features a hydrophilic coating that is activated by an integrated sterile 0.9% saline pouch, allowing the catheter to glide smoothly through the urethra for a more comfortable catheterization experience.
To enhance infection control, the closed system includes a soft silicone introducer tip that helps protect the catheter from bacteria present in the initial section of the urethra, which may contribute to a reduced risk of urinary tract infections.
