Salter I-Guard Elongated Aerosol Mask

Salter I-Guard Elongated Aerosol Mask is anatomically shaped, elongated style mask which provides efficient flow direction of medication delivery. It features soft aluminum nose clip which enhances eye protection with simple adjustment. The mask has integral tapered slip fitting connector for easy secure connection to nebulizers. The soft, clear, curved, feathered edge mask design provides extra comfort and superior fit. Salter I-Guard Elongated Aerosol Mask comes with elastic headstrap (without connecting tube or nebulizer). Lightweight mask and nebulizer (not included) assembly with elastic headstrap is convenient for caregiver to position during treatment. Color coded, directional flow, one way valves and micro-vented ports, helps keep medication away from the eyes. Micro vented exhalation ports (MVP) to aid in medication delivery to the patients nose and mouth simultaneously while diminishing incidence of aerosol medication getting into the eyes. Valved mask can be used with the small volume jet nebulizers. This special system utilizes the Salter Nebu-Tech HDN or the 8900 series Nebulizers and a Salter Aerosol mask with elastic head strap in several special configurations. They are engineered with special valves or vents to maximize aerosol delivery to the patient's nose and mouth while diminishing the incidence of aerosol irritating the patient's eyes. Available in Pediatric, and Adult sizes. A combination of Salter Labs Nebulizers coupled with specially designed and constructed masks, to diminish aerosolized medication entering a patient's eyes.
