Setopress high compression bandage is a lightweight bandage that delivers
progressive high compression for the treatment of venous leg ulcers. The bandage
has a visible application guidance written on it, making it easier to apply
consistently and accurately. The visual guidance comprises of color rectangles
that transform into squares when the correct extent is reached. On one side of
the bandage, brown rectangles indicate heavy compression, while green rectangles
indicate moderate compression.
Extending the Brown rectangles to squares results in 40mmHg at the ankles.
Extending the green rectangles to squares results in 30mmHg at the ankles. If a
patient is unfamiliar with compression therapy or finds it difficult to
cooperate, modest compression may be utilized initially. When properly applied,
Setopress high compression bandages provide a level of compression that has been
found to heal even long-standing leg injuries in 12 weeks. The visual
application guide makes it simple to use Setopress consistently and accurately.
