Precautions

• Do not use a microwave to warm formula as it may cause serious burns.
• Powdered infant formula is not sterile and should only be given to preterm infants or infants with immune concerns under medical supervision.

Instructions for Use:

Your baby’s health relies on strict adherence to these directions. Proper hygiene, handling, and storage are crucial when preparing formula. Failure to follow could cause serious harm. Always consult your baby’s doctor regarding formula choice, the use of cooled boiled water for mixing powder, and sterilizing utensils, bottles, nipples, and rings. Seek medical advice before switching formulas.

Do not mix ready-to-feed formula with water, as this may alter nutrition, and repeated use could cause illness.

2 fl oz bottle

• Do not use if the breakaway ring is missing or broken.
• Do not add water.
• Shake thoroughly.
• Remove the cap by twisting.
• Attach a clean nipple and ring.
• The formula is commercially sterile; attach a clean nipple and ring with clean hands. Use sterile equipment if advised.
• No need to warm before feeding.
• Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.
• Do not reuse bottles.

1 QT bottle

• Do not use if the cap band or inner foil seal is damaged.
• Do not add water.
• Shake well before each use. Remove protective band, twist off, and clean cap.
• Invert cap; press down to pierce foil, then turn cap half a turn and remove foil.
• Pour into the bottle and attach a clean nipple. Once feeding begins, use within 1 hour or discard.

Storage

2-fl-oz bottle

• Keep protected from light.
• Do not reuse the bottle.
• Store in a carton until ready for use.
• Unopened bottles should be kept at room temperature; avoid extreme heat or cold.

1-QT bottle

• Unopened: Store at room temperature and avoid extreme conditions.
• Opened: Recap, refrigerate, and use within 3 days.
• Prepared but unused bottles: Cap, refrigerate, and consume within 2 days. Do not reuse the container.
