Simpurity Fibergel AG Silver Alginate Wound Dressing

Simpurity Fibergel AG Silver Alginate Wound Dressing combines the absorbency of a hydrofiber dressing with ionic silver to help inhibit bacterial growth in the wound bed and reduce infection risk. The dressing absorbs exudate and transforms into a soft gel that maintains a moist healing environment while preventing adherence to the wound surface for comfortable removal. Its flexible structure conforms easily to different wound shapes, supports autolytic debridement and can be removed in one piece with minimal disruption to newly formed granulation tissue. Manufactured from calcium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose, and a silver compound, Fibergel AG provides sustained silver ion release for antimicrobial protection lasting up to 7 days.

Indications: For the management of moderate-to-highly exuding wounds such as:

Contraindications:

• Dry wounds, third-degree burns & heavy bleeding.
• Do not use dressing on patients with known sensitivity to silver.
• Not intended for use on third-degree burns.

Instruction to use:

1. Cleanse the wound with sterile solution or saline and dry the surrounding skin.
2. Select an appropriate dressing size and cut or fold using sterile scissors if required.
3. Apply the dressing directly to the wound bed. Either side may be used.
4. Secure with a suitable secondary dressing.
