Simpurity Collagen Wound Dressings are clean, white, single-layer sponges comprised of lyophilized, medical-grade bovine collagen. They are very biocompatible and contain a lot of Type I collagen, which helps with absorption and serves as an excellent scaffold for cell proliferation and migration. The collagen form enables healthcare providers to apply it to wounds of various sizes and shapes, giving substrate collagen that helps deflect matrix metalloproteinase activity away from healing tissues and reduce inflammation. Simpurity Collagen pieces aid in tissue regeneration, while the three-dimensional scaffold structure stimulates fibroblast migration, granulation, angiogenesis, and tissue repair.
