Starts From
Description
Simpurity Fibergel Wound Dressing is a soft, highly absorbent primary wound dressing that transforms into a gel upon contact with wound exudate. This gelling action creates an optimal moist environment that supports effective wound healing. The dressing easily adapts to different wound shapes, assists with debridement, and can be removed in one piece with minimal disruption to newly formed granulation tissue.
Features:
- Supports moist wound healing: Forms a gel on contact with exudate to maintain an ideal healing environment.
- Highly conformable: Soft and flexible design allows the dressing to adapt to a wide range of wound shapes.
- Assists debridement: Helps facilitate the removal of non-viable tissue from the wound bed.
- Easy one-piece removal: Minimizes trauma to fragile granulating tissue during dressing changes.
- Primary dressing use: Designed for direct application to the wound as the first layer.
Indications: Intended for the management of moderate-to-highly exuding wounds, including:
- Pressure Ulcers.
- Leg Ulcers.
- Cavity Wounds.
- Post Debridement Hemostasis.
- Superficial and Partial Thickness Wounds.
- Traumatic Wounds.
Contraindications: Not indicated for use on full thickness third-degree burns, dry wounds, infected wounds, or surgical implantations.
Directions to use:
- Cleanse the wound with a sterile cleanser or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin.
- Select the appropriate dressing size based on the wound area. Using sterile scissors, cut or fold the dressing to fit the wound bed as needed.
