Simpurity Non-Adhesive Foam Wound Dressing

Simpurity Non-Adhesive Foam Wound Dressings are intended to help manage moderately to severely exuding wounds. The dressing absorbs wound exudate, supports moist wound healing, protects against external contaminants and allows moisture vapor exchange. The white side of the foam dressing is applied directly to the wound. The coral-colored top layer features a moisture-permeable backing that helps prevent exudate strike-through while serving as a barrier to outside contaminants. Simpurity Foam Dressings are designed for easy removal from the wound site, and the non-adhesive construction helps protect the surrounding periwound skin.

Indications: Indicated for the management of moderately to highly exuding wounds, including:

Contraindications: Not indicated for use in the following situations:

• Third-degree burns.
• Dry wounds.
• Surgical implantations.

Instructions to Use:

1. Clean the wound with sterile cleanser or saline solution and dry the surrounding skin.
2. Select an appropriately sized dressing to fully cover the wound area.
3. Apply the dressing with the white foam side placed directly on the wound. The plastic backing helps prevent strike-through.
4. Cover and secure the dressing using medical tape or a transparent secondary dressing.
