Simpurity Sacrum Silicone Foam Wound Dressing with Adhesive Border is a wound dressing designed to manage moderate to high levels of wound exudate. The dressing features a highly absorbent foam pad that effectively wicks away excess fluid, creating a moist wound environment that supports healing. Maintaining this moist environment helps support the body’s natural healing process while also reducing the risk of infection.

Dressing Structure:

4. Foam layer: Provides vertical absorption to manage heavy exudate and reduce periwound maceration.

Indications: Indicated for the management of moderately-to-highly exuding wounds such as:

• Pressure sores in the sacral area.
• Chronic and acute exudative sacral wounds.
• Lacerations and abrasions on shallow wounds.

Contraindications: Are not indicated for use on the following:

• Third-degree burns.
• Dry wounds.
• Surgical implantations.
