Here’s how the StepPad works:

To activate a stepwise sequence, press any of the four buttons designated for activities. These buttons can be labeled with a slide-in overlay and an auditory cue. By pressing the Next button, users hear each step individually. Press Play to go over a step again. Use the Back button to review earlier steps.

With StepPad, you can log as many as 30 steps for each activity. It can handle eight activities (four activities, two levels), producing as many as 240 step recordings. It is possible to re-record any step without impacting other recordings. It is possible to add a new step to a sequence without altering the other steps. Additionally, you have the option to lock StepPad to only one specific activity. This can diminish the chances of a user becoming “lost” and can restrict access to level-changing and record functions.

The StepPad is a robust cognitive support tool that is user-friendly and designed for individuals who struggle to carry out multi-step tasks on their own. The user is prompted on what to do next by having the recorded directions played back in sequence, one step at a time. You can easily press the navigation buttons with your thumb, just like on a video game controller. Volume is adjusted on the sides of the device, within quick reach of your index fingers. Two key messages are easily accessible. Utilize these for crucial information or key expressions. With dual speakers, the StepPad can be heard even in a crowd. Alternatively, you can utilize the headphone jack to maintain the privacy of recordings.

• Attainment's GoTalk products are warranted for a period of Two (2) year from the date of delivery.

• Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of shipment. Unfortunately, we are unable to process returns beyond this period.
• We do not guarantee fulfillment of any desired purpose or product suitability to the user and this will not be considered as a valid reason for return.
• A restocking fee of 20% will be charged to cover inspection, handling and repackaging.
• A Return Authorization (RA) Number will be issued and must be clearly marked on all cartons and correspondence.
• The products must be new, unused condition, not tampered with, in original packaging and returned at the customer's expense in the original packaging.
• If your return is not due to any manufacturing defect then the original shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund
• Any damage due to use, mishandling or improper packing of the return will be noted and deducted from the credit issued.
