Dressing has Four-Layer Construction:
- Layer 1: A non-adherent contact layer that protects the wound site and prevents sticking to granulating tissue.
- Layer 2: A soft absorbent pad that efficiently manages wound drainage.
- Layer 3: A non-woven backing with an adhesive border that secures the contact pad in place.
- Layer 4: A semi-occlusive polyurethane film that helps block external contaminants while maintaining an optimal healing environment.
Indication:
- Shallow or deep wounds
- Partial- and full-thickness wounds
- General wound protection and moisture control
Contraindications:
- Not intended for use on third-degree burns.
- Do not use in patients with known sensitivity to any component of the dressing.
How to apply:
- Remove the dressing from the pouch. Peel off one release liner and apply the dressing to one side of the wound.
- Gently smooth the dressing border onto the skin, avoiding wrinkles.
- Remove the remaining release liner and press the dressing border firmly to ensure full contact with the skin.
Removal: Gently lift one corner and slowly peel the dressing away from the skin.
Change Frequency: Replace the dressing according to the amount of wound drainage or as recommended by the healthcare professional. Can remain in place for up to 7 days.
