The silicone coating helps the catheter to be quickly inserted with minimal irritation. The catheter is also 2 ways, allowing for not only drainage, but also inflation. The catheter is sturdy and sterile for effective and safe use, even after a prolonged period. The catheter itself is a latex catheter but it is coated internally and externally in 100% silicone to resist encrustation and bacterial colonization.
