TheraTogs ULTRA Wunzi System for Infants has a perfect design for children aged newborn to 24 months (up to 26 lbs) who require postural support, sensory-motor input, or neuromotor retraining. Theratogs Wunzi system is simple to dress on the child and simple for caregivers to use. It is meant to fit just like the standard "onesie" garment that many newborns use with the over-the-diaper design, making it quick and easy to put on. Closure tabs are integrated directly into the garment, eliminating the need to maintain track of loose tabs.

The Wunzi system is the only neuromotor retraining device designed for infants. Wunzi's garments and components are free of latex. Wunzi is appropriate for children from birth to age two, which is the most essential time to address any signs of developmental delay, and a professional therapist or vigilant caregiver can detect evidence of delay when compared to early baby milestones.

The TheraTogs ULTRA Wunzi Infant System provides an important positive intervention for infants when a neuromotor or orthopedic problem is identified early on. Wunzi System by Theratogs effectively addresses typical motor difficulties such as a 'floppy' trunk, an infant's inability to keep his head, trunk, or hip position, and an infant's inability to right itself or restore balance.

The ULTRA Wunzi System offers input through the torso to treat motor and sensory development delays. Wunzi comes with comfortable and cozy patented foam-lined, Velcro®-sensitive garments and a skin-grasping strapping system. The unique composite fabric is elasticized with a stretch bias, which promotes proper postural alignment - ideal for a growing baby. It is soft on infant skin and can be used for multiple hours. The base system contains limb cuffs and strapping to promote good posture, and the Limb Kit, which works similarly to external muscles and ligaments, improves body function and proximal joint alignment for greater motor development.

A Wunzi is appropriate if your child or client is less than 24 months old, and presents one or more of the following:

Q. Is it easy to dress on my child?
A. Not to worry: the Wunzi was specifically designed to be easy to use, and it mimics the common "onesie"infant garment you're probably already familiar with. The Velcro "tabs" embedded into the foam underside of the garment provide instant closure and easy adjustments for a snug fit- no buttons, no snaps, no zippers. Getting the infant dressed is as easy as 1-2-3:

• 1. Place the baby on the back panel of the garment.
• 2. Lay the front piece on the chest.
• 3. Close the system with the Velcro tabs.

Q. How do I care for and maintain my Wunzi?
A. The Wunzi system is machine washable on the gentle cycle, and must be washed (without detergent) at least weekly. Be careful handling the garments when they are wet; the same properties that make the foam so soft and gentle also make it easy to 'nick' or chip the foam when the material is wet.
