CarePocket® Urine Leg Bag Holder is designed to securely fixate a urine leg bag while maintaining discretion and comfort during daily use. Unlike traditional fixation methods that rely on narrow straps, CarePocket® supports the weight of a full leg bag across the entire product, helping distribute tension evenly around the leg. This design supports stability without impeding appearance, making it suitable for everyday wear.

Made from a very soft, stretchy, and breathable material, CarePocket® is comfortable against the skin and suitable for use on either the thigh or calf. It fits both the left and right leg equally well and accommodates urine leg bags with volumes up to 750 ml (24–25 oz). Practical features such as a bottom tap opening for easy emptying, color-coded sizing, and washability support ease of use and hygiene. The product is OEKO-TEX® certified and intended to provide discreet, reliable leg bag support.

Use:

CarePocket® features a pocket within the design for the urine bag. At the bottom there is a small hole, and the valve of urine bags with bottom tap opening can be pulled through.

Composition: 80% Polyester, 20% Elastane.

Intended purpose:

Fixation of a urine bag on a thigh or calf.

Users:

Users with a temporary or permanent urinary catheter inserted in the bladder for any medical reason.

Indications:

• For comfortable positioning and safe fixation of a urine leg bag as a part of a two-piece system.
• Use the device according to medical indication to avoid injury or damage

Contraindications:

• Skin diseases
• Contact dermatitis

Clinical Benefits:

Adequate fixation of the urine leg bag minimizes the risk of pull on the catheter. Pull on the catheter may cause discomfort and irritation to the patient or potential injury to the bladder neck.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Follow the Instructions for Use
• Follow doctor’s and nurses’ recommendations regarding use
• It is recommended to empty the urine leg bag when 1/2 full
• If any unexpected discomfort or skin irritation occurs, remove the urine leg bag holder
• Keep urine leg bag below the level of the bladder level to avoid urine from moving back up the tubing and into the bladder

Care Instructions:

• Wash with similar colours
• Wash in a laundry bag
• Gentle tumble drying
• Use of chlorine based products may decrease durability and function

How to Use:

Step 1:

Pull on the leg bag holder (ensure the color size code is at the top).

Step 2:

Place the leg bag in the pocket and pull the tap through the lower hole.

Step 3:

The CarePocket® is in place.

Measuring thigh/calf circumference:

1. In standing position, measure the thigh or calf by wrapping the tape around the leg at the widest circumference covered by the urine leg bag holder
2. Make sure the tape lies flat and straight the whole way around
3. Check the measurement at the point where the two ends overlap
