U-Step Neuro Platform walking stabilizer
Features
Platform U-Step Neuro
U-Step II Platform walking stabilizer has the same cutting-edge features as the standard U-Step 2, resulting in superior stability, maneuverability, and control while having arm platforms in place of the standard handlebars.
U-Step Neuro Platform Model-Reversed Braking System
The innovative braking system is simple to operate and gives you complete control. U-Step 2 will not roll until either hand brake is lightly squeezed. When you let go of the hand brake, the unit comes to a complete stop. This feature is especially useful when standing up from a chair because it prevents the unit from rolling away from you.
U-Step II Walking Stabilizer - Features & Benefits
Rolling resistance control - Unlike other rolling walkers, the new U-Step 2 allows you to adjust the rolling speed. Wheeled walkers are often too fast for many people. That is why we designed to control for adjusting rolling resistance. Loosen the set screw and rotate the adjustment lever to achieve the desired level of resistance, then tighten the set screw.
Spring-loaded front wheel - The patented spring-loaded front caster system easily glides over uneven surfaces such as indoor molding strips and sidewalk cracks. This eliminates the need for sudden jolts as well as the need to lift the walker over small obstacles.
Adjustable forearm platforms - Stand up straight, forearms cradled in our padded platforms. Ideal for people who have had a stroke, suffered a brain injury, have a stooped posture or have a weak upper body. Highly adjustable for the best possible setup. Platforms can be rotated inwards as well as angled up and down.
Comfortable padded seat - “I stopped falling! When I bought my U-Step 2 walker, the results were nothing short of a miracle. I immediately felt safe, as if the walker were a natural extension of my body. It is lightweight, easy to operate and a far more dignified design than other walkers that I tried.” – Ralph Bakery, Los Angeles, CA
Laser & sound cueing module - This optional feature is primarily used by people suffering from Parkinson's disease, but it can be used by anyone who has an irregular gait pattern. This Cueing Module can assist you in getting started, normalizing your walking, and increasing your stride. To guide your step, press the red button on the module to project a bright red laser line on the floor. You can also use the sound feature to program a beat pattern for your walking speed.
