Description

Press Down U-Step Neuro

U-Step Neuro Press Down walking stabilizer replaces the usual hand brakes with press down brakes while maintaining all of the cutting edge features of the standard U-Step Neuro, which contributes to its greater stability, mobility, and control. Press down on the left or right release lever to move forward, or flip the backrest over and apply pressure. Ideal for those who lacks the ability to operate a standard hand brake.

Press Down Brake Handle

Ideal for people who cannot squeeze a hand brake. The soft rubber brake handle can be lightly pressed to release the brakes and proceed. Simply release the brake handle to stop.

U-Step II Press Down - Features & Benefits

Middle bar braking - The Flip brake bar is an additional method of applying brake pressure. Simply flip it backwards and press down on it to release the brakes for walking. To engage the brakes, simple flip the bar forward.

Rolling resistance control - The new U-Step Neuro allows you to change the rolling pace, compared with standard rolling walkers. Many people find that wheeled walkers roll too fast for them. That is why we designed a control to adjust the rolling resistance for this reason. Loosen the set screw and rotate the adjustment lever to the desired amount of resistance, then re-tighten the set screw.

Spring-loaded front wheel - The unique spring-loaded front caster mechanism makes it simple to maneuver over uneven terrain like sidewalk cracks and indoor molding strips. This avoids sudden jolts as well as the need to lift the walker over small obstacles.

Easily transported - It only takes three simple steps to fold the U-Step Neuro! To fold the seat and place it in the car, lift the release lever next to the seat, pull up on the seat support, and avoid bending down to pick it up.

Laser & sound cueing module - Anyone with an uneven walking pattern can use this optional feature, although people with Parkinson's freezing are the ones who use it most frequently. This Cueing Module can help get you started, normalize your walking and increase your stride. Press the red button on the module to project a bright red laser line on the floor to guide your step. You can also turn on the sound feature to set a beat pattern for walking speed.
