How to Apply

1. Cleanse the wound according to your medical provider's instructions.
2. Moisten ZeniCOL with sterile saline if the wound is dry.
3. Apply the collagen pad directly onto the wound bed for shallow or tunneling wounds.
4. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing to maintain the moist environment.
5. Change the dressing daily or as instructed by your healthcare provider, irrigating the wound bed to remove gel residue.

Use & Application Tips

• ZeniCOL pads can be applied with either side facing the wound.
• For dry wounds, moisten with sterile saline to facilitate gel formation.

Contraindication:

• On third-degree burns
• On infected or contaminated wounds
• In patients with known sensitivity to bovine collagen
• As injectable collagen is intended only for topical wound application

Storage:

• Store in a cool, dry place away from light.
• Keep in the original sterile packaging until ready for use.

Warnings & Precautions:

• Single-use only—discard opened or unused dressings.
• Do not pack tightly; allow ZeniCOL to expand as it interacts with wound exudate.
• Wounds may appear larger initially due to edema reduction.
