Securement Dressing is an engineered stablization device (ESD) plus antimicrobial (CHG) dressing designed to provide immediate and continuous antimicrobial protection for up to 7 days. Using a sutureless securement device is recommended by the Joint Commision.

Securement Dressing is a sutureless securement system that provides quick and reliable PICC/CVC securement and antimicrobial protection, without sacrificing patient comfort. It includes an adhesive stabilization device (ASD) plus an antimicrobial (CHG chlorhexidine gluconate) IV securement dressing. It’s the only transparent CHG dressing proven to reduce catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSIs) and vascular catheter colonization that aligns with evidence-based guidelines and practice standards.

This product accommodates the majority of single, double and triplelumen PICC and short-term CVC catheters up to and including 12 French.

Tegaderm CHG Dressing should be changed:
- If the site is obscured or no longer visible.
- If there is visual drainage outside the gel pad.
- If the dressing appears to be saturated or overaly swollen.
- If the dressing becomes loose, soiled, or compromised in any way.
NOTE: Tegaderm CHG Dressing is not designed to absorb large quantities of blood or drainage
